Overview
The domain spam-filter.email is part of the email security infrastructure operated by Qweb. Incoming and outgoing email traffic is processed through a local SpamExperts filtering cluster before delivery to the destination mail server.
Local Cluster Architecture
- Email is accepted via MX routing on the SpamExperts cluster
- Messages are scanned using reputation, content, and authentication checks
- Legitimate email is forwarded to the configured destination mail servers
- Spam or suspicious messages may be rejected or quarantined
Filtering Capabilities
- Inbound spam, phishing, and malware filtering
- Outbound filtering to protect sender reputation
- SPF, DKIM, and DMARC validation
- Greylisting and reputation‑based controls
- Attachment and content inspection
Quarantine & Message Handling
Spam messages may be quarantined instead of permanently rejected. Retention time and access depend on policy and configuration.
